About Me

In full transparency– I probably outlined this page about times and have written about 5 different drafts come to find out that it was too complicated. I asked a friend, what should I put on this page and she told me keep it simple and let people know what makes you you.

So got rid of all of those notes and instead came up with a list of the three things that I feel are some of my strengths and that many around me have told me capture who I am both personally and professionally.

I love what I do.

I’ve taught and worked with young people for over 10 years and if I’ve learned anything it is that we underestimate their power and their drive to move forward and grow. Times have changed, and as adults responsible for shepherding a new generation, we are falling behind. With so many new industries and tons of opportunities that weren’t available just 10 years ago, it is our duty to begin outlining pathways that are as diverse as the young people we serve.

I’ve dedicated my life to creating all sorts of new and innovative opportunities for young people and their families to learn about and engage in self-education, technology, gaming and entrepreneurship.

I build networks and pathways.

Over the years, I have worked to build a network of students, professionals, educators, administrators, non-profits, for-profits and everything in between all in the effort to create pathways and opportunities for young people to explore and one day be employed in the changing world around them.

The last few years, has found me primarily building networks and experiences around career-readiness in the creative fields, entrepreneurship and gaming. Check out my projects page to learn a little more about my work and the projects I’ve done and what I’m working on now.

I am an influencer, IRL.

There’s social media influence, then there is the stuff you get In Real Life. When I am passionate about something, others get passionate about it to. Because of this, I usually find myself giving public talks, leading workshops and moderating events.

If I truly believe in a project, others tend to follow which leads to amazing partnerships and sustainable growth.

What Now?

If you’ve made it this far, then I hope you’ve gotten a sense of what I consider to be some of my greatest strengths. I am always looking for new and innovative projects to join and if they are paid, even better!

An about me, rarely ever covers the entirety of a person, so instead, I’d like my work and some awesome media to capture the essence of who I am and what it is that I do. So feel free to check out some of the projects I’ve worked on or feel free to read through my feed and see some of the things I’m currently fascinated by or working on.
